I planned national advocacy conferences, managed relationships with high level nonprofit and government leaders, guided digital strategy, and produced policy research. During my tenure, I helped lead an effort to encourage GVP organizations to look at gun violence and criminal justice through a holistic lens. To this end, I began by co-publishing a report on Millennial recommendations on criminal justice reform. Then, we expanded our network of young GVP activists to encompass CJR activists and causes, growing the total membership from just under 400 members to over 3,000. National policy leaders began taking note.
